Ceramic coating, often referred to as nano-ceramic coating is a clear coat that acts as an extra layer of protection for your car. Aside from protecting the surface, it can give your vehicle unbeatable shine.
Ceramic base coat forms a permanent bond with the surface and will not wash off or break down. Ceramic base coat can only be removed by abrasion. It is a highly durable protective coating that protects your paintwork from damaging contaminants. 9H can be applied in multiple layers which means the thickness of the coating can be increased with additional layers allowing a thicker/harder coating with improved scratch resistance.
Top Coat allows the surface to stay cleaner longer as dirt and grime will not stick to it. The super hydrophobic effect of the coating will cause water to bead up and roll of the surface along with any dirt and grime. Top Coat is usually applied over 9H in the layering process. Though not as durable as 9H, it can also be applied on its own. Top Coat also enhances gloss depth further on all painted surfaces for that wet look that is often hard to attain with synthetic waxes.

Ceramic Coatings are not a wax or sealant that will wash away or break down over time. It is a nano-ceramic coating that forms a permanent adhesion to the paint and can only be removed through abrasion. No chemical can dissolve the coating.
Once cured, the coating is measured to have hardness above 9H. Normal clear coat has hardness between 2H and 4H. The increase in the hardness of the coated surface is vast. This makes it the hardest paint coating on the market today.
Bare metal will oxidize and painted surfaces will not. Ceramic Coating's protective coat protects the paint and the metal from getting in contact with water and oxygen.
The shine from this product is not comparable to any other product on the market. It has to be seen in real life.
When you talk about surfaces being hydrophobic you often talk about the water contact angle of the surface. The higher angle the less dirt or liquid will attach to the surface. A drive in the rain will make the car look newly washed. This hydrophobic effect will last a lifetime if maintained correctly.
Silkoxid which is used in sun block is also used in Ceramic Coating products. The UV protecting keeps the paint, rubber and plastic from aging.

What is the meaning of 9h Ceramic Hardness? It's an amazing screen protection technology, created by Friedrich Mohs. This techincality measures
-the hardness that a pencil would leave if it hit your phone - and determines how much damage could be done to the clear coat on your vehicle before scratching the surface.
Ceramic coatings have this feature to aid or assist in reducing marring, scratches and swirls that may occur from daily usage
Yes, every car gets paint correction before Ceramic is applied. Not only does paint correction take out minor imperfections, caused by dealerships, manufactures or consumers, it also preps the paint for the coating to adhere better.
A ceramic coated car will aid in preventing fine scratches, staining, and etching but not adverse scratches that come from big rock chips and parking lot scratches that can leave deep marks.
Ceramic coatings boast a 9h hardness to make them super durable, while retaining water beading effects for easy maintenance.
On Average we have a vehicle for 3 days start to finish. Feynlab Self Heal coatings can take up to 5 days.
Every day cars get build up from daily use, oils and grime from on the road and require soap and water to wash away. Your vehicle is going stay cleaner for a longer period of time and will heavily cut down on the amount of washing needed, but not completely eliminate the need for washing,
No! While you are shopping and doing your research, you will notice one thing: prices are all over the place. You may be getting prices from $300 all the way to $3,000. There is no Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) for Ceramic Coating.
Professional Grade Ceramic Coatings can only be bought by a certified installer. They are thick, super-glue like, and often include multiple steps to cure it into a hard thick layer, these Ceramic Coatings provide the best durability and looks. Professional grade coating companies require the installer to be vetted and professionally trained at their facility. You also need to apply in a controlled environment, as temperature of the room and timing matter when applying a coating.
Consumer Grade Ceramic Coatings can be bought online and are typically a single level application. They are much more forgiving to apply, but they don't cure as hard, so you really don't get a deep shine and durability.
