WHAT IS PAINT CORRECTION ?
Paint correction is the craft of creating the sharpest reflection possible without hiding or masking defects. While removing the least amount of paint possible through the use of safe, modern and proper polishes and techniques.
The paintwork on a car is exposed to many environmental challenges on a daily basis, things like bird droppings, road grime, water spots, car wash tunnels, the use of poor detailing techniques and or products, etc. Unfortunately, all of these things can ruin the finish of a car and leave it looking dull, faded and with lots of swirls and scratches. The accumulation of these things will not only take away from your vehicle’s appearance but it will reduce the resale value of the car as well.
BUYER BEWARE!!! Paint correction requires precission, patience and a high degree of skill. Dealerships, car washes and unskilled detailers are some of the people who offer paint correction or polishing, however these places are NOT qualified, properly trained and/or lack the necessary skills to perform such services. Many things can and will go wrong, such as: swirl marks on the paint, burned paint and plastic trim parts, causing of premature clearcoat failure due to too much clear coat removal (many places use very harsh compounds to polish cars). Multiple Stage Paint Correction
When you invest in the multi stage paint correction, you’re significantly improving the finish by removing all of the swirls, and all, but the heaviest of scratches and defects. This process starts with a heavy compounding machine polishing stage to remove the worst defects, followed by a secondary polishing stage to refine the finish and improve the gloss and clarity. Due to the different paint types, condition, and size of vehicles, the rate for the Multi Stage Paint Correction varies, but we consult with each customer to provide a more precise quote. The paint type and condition also dictates the level of correction, but typically this service will get rid of 75-95% of all defects.
